Though he has attended many times in the past under his alternate identity, Comic-Con 2006 was the first time he went as the video game-powered crimefighter Captain Almighty. You see them on beaches, at car and fashion shows, in your "private" collection of magazines, and now on Deal or No Deal, but you don't expect to see them at Comic-Con. At least most of us didn't. Among the practitioners of this strange ritual it is known as "Cosplay", though we at Game Almighty simply refer to it as "uncomfortable". The people wearing them always appear to be a little uncomfortable and it is often uncomfortable to look at them. Most of them don't seem to realize that a Singer sewing machine in the garage, Styrofoam, and naugahyde do not a super hero make. But it does make for some fascinating people watching. Not that they would listen to us, but our advice is to leave the super-suit-wearing up to the real professionals - like the Alliance members here at Game Almighty.
