Square Enix, home of the Final Fantasy franchise, has announced Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess, has shipped to retail stores in North America. This new MMORPG expansion pack for FFXI will give players more quests, items, and jobs in the evolved world of Vana’diel. The game will be available in two different packs and three different systems:
FINAL FANTASY XI Vana’diel Collection 2008 (Stand-alone product including all expansions)
Platforms: PlayStation 2 system, Xbox 360
MSRP: $39.99 and $49.99 respectively
FINAL FANTASY XI: WINGS OF THE GODDESS (Expansion pack only)
Platforms: PlayStation 2 system, Windows PC, Xbox 360
MSRP: $29.99 each
Features in this pack include:
- Two new job classes: The Dancer and Scholar.
- New techniques: The Dancer’s Steps or use of black and white magic with the Scholar
- New battles in San d’Oria, Bastok and Windurst, good and bad.
- Combat, alone or in a party, with new monsters and looting different spoils and rewards.
Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess will be available for Windows PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox 360 and is rated T for Teen. It will come live on November 22, 2007
